Get to Know Me
I am a trained doula through DONA International and am currently working toward my certification. I bring not only evidence-based education and hands-on experience, but also a deep commitment to nurturing both the emotional and physical well-being of birthing people and their families.
My path to this work has been shaped by years of experience in early childhood care and a heart for supporting families. Before becoming a doula, I worked as a preschool teacher, where I discovered the joy and significance of being present during the earliest moments of a child’s life. That passion led me to pursue my Master of Social Work, where I’ve focused my studies on children, families, and systems of care — with a personal interest in maternal health and postpartum support.
When I’m not supporting families, you can usually find me hiking with my husband and our Bernese Mountain Dog, Higgins. I love crafting, crocheting, and singing with my a cappella group — and I never miss a chance to spend time with my nieces and nephews.
